Dr. Trimble grew up on the coast of British Columbia and graduated from the Western Collage of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) in 2005.  She immediately headed south to complete an ambulatory internship at the prestigious Peterson and Smith Equine Hospital in Ocala Florida where she remained on as an associated veterinarian for many years.   Dr. Trimble’s equine career quickly became very focused on three aspects of veterinary medicine that make her a significant asset to Okanagan Veterinary Hospital: internal medicine, lameness/orthopedics and reproduction, all of which are modalities that we pride ourselves on being very interested in.  

After having had the opportunity to travel and work in different countries Dr. Trimble and her family have chosen to call the Okanagan home.  Dr. Trimble joined our team part time in the spring of 2018 and quickly decided to transition to small animal full time.  Dr. Trimble has focused her training and interests in Sport Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, Reproduction and Dentistry.  She has taken advantage of working directly with Dr. Marco Veenis to gain extensive hands on experience to fine tune and expand her orthopedic surgery skills under the guidance of a truly exceptional surgeon. As well as working closely with Dr. Veenis,  she has undergone several extensive orthopedic training programs. She looks forward to providing continued surgical support to our referral community.
