Dr. Peter Woodward

Dr. Peter Woodward joined the Okanagan Veterinary Hospital in 2019. He graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008, Afterwards he spent a year at the teaching hospital at Washington State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Woodward previously worked in private practices in Vancouver and Vancouver Island where he was a practice owner. His primary focus is on preventative medicine with a special interest in Internal medicine. During Peter’s downtime, he frequently escapes to the outdoors. In fact, he used to be a sports fishing guide on the West Coast. Dr. Woodward’s love for fishing has also led him to assist with the Okanagan Nation’s kł cp̓əlk̓ stim̓ sockeye hatchery program. 

Dr. Woodward is excited to be living in Kelowna with his wife Jaime, and his two children Scarlett and Jackson. The Woodward family also has a variety of animals, “Sir Kibbles” a border terrier,  “Frankie” the french bulldog, “Derrick” and “Simon” the tabby cats. Dr. Woodward is very honored to be a part of the team at the Okanagan Veterinary Hospital.
