Dr. Hess is a 1987 graduate of Colorado State University. She practiced small animal medicine and surgery for 16 years in Indiana, and 21 years in Reno, Nevada, where she was also the co-owner of a small animal practice. 

Dr. Hess and her husband moved to Kelowna in February, 2026, along with their 2 parrots, 3 dogs and 2 cats. Outside of work, they enjoy hiking, biking, gardening and travel. 

Bringing more than 35 years of experience in small animal medicine with her, we are so excited to welcome Dr. Hess to the team! Dr. Hess is now available for appointments on Fridays and Saturdays and is accepting new patients.
